First of all, thank you to the whole team who worked seamlessly together to capture so much of our day, whilst building a rapport with our guests and making them all feel really great!  your personalities alone score 10/10 without even getting onto the photo/video skills part..!

We have received preview photos and our wedding videos so far and we are really blown away! Everything is so colourful, glowy and joyful which portrays exactly how we felt on the day! 

The wedding highlight video is really vibrant and manages to tell the story of our day in 4 minutes which is amazing! I’ve watched it about 25 times already on my phone (really looking forward to watching it on a big screen when we are home!!). We also love the cheeky touches Dan prompted us to do during the day (Sam’s wink, waving to the camera etc.) as it’s brought so much personality to the video which we love . It is clear Dan builds a vision as the day progresses and it’s fab to see what it manifests as for the final video! 

Matt and Ejay made both Sam and I feel really at ease in the morning when things were a bit chaotic and were very flexible when the bridal party were running a tad behind (classic). They don’t really ask you to pose which I personally liked and at first you think what photos did we actually get of the day as I didn’t pose for too many??!  But then the photos come through and they effortlessly depict the actual day itself, so naturally and candidly!  it was lovely seeing smiles on the other end of hugs, guests laughing at speeches and angles which you didn’t see yourself on the day. They also managed to capture so much of the wee details and best bits of the venue in the photos - we love all of the framing! Not to mention they captured the coolest drone shot which shows the pattern and train in my dress and Sam’s kilt amazingly! We are super excited to see the whole lot!!  very very happy!

We can’t praise Fern Photography enough for everything that they did for us on the day of our wedding, and in the run up to it. 

The pre-wedding photoshoot wasn’t something we really thought about doing, but we were so glad we did!! It allowed us to get to know one half of the Fern Photography team, and allowed us to really see what their style is like and how they operate on the day. Matt made us feel so at ease during the pre-wedding photoshoot and chatted to us about what we can expect on the day from him and Dan. We absolutely loved our photos from that day but we especially just loved the all-round experience. It was so much fun and it was so reassuring to see that these guys really know what they’re doing!! 

On the wedding day, Dan and Matt arrived promptly and we could see they were very experienced when it comes to weddings! They easily went between myself and my husband capturing special parts of the morning, and really helped to make us both feel at ease. During the ceremony and thereafter, they managed to capture our special day with ease, without making people feel uncomfortable with cameras in their faces!! We had so many lovely comments from our guests saying how lovely both Matt and Dan were and how great they were at putting people at ease when in front of the camera.

I loved how we could go along with our big day as normal without feeling like we were posing etc. They moulded to the feeling of our wedding which we wanted to be fun and full of love and laughter, and we feel they captured it perfectly. We loved that they captured so many candid moments and that we didn’t have to unnaturally pose for photos! 

Looking at the photos and video, it makes it even more special knowing that we didn’t feel like there was constantly a camera in our face! Matt and Dan made an effort to chat to our guests and help them feel at ease. We loved this, especially as it felt like they were our guests instead of suppliers! It really helped to make everyone feel at ease and able to enjoy their day without feeling any pressure in front of the camera. 

We are in love with our photos and videos, and we cannot wait to see the rest of the photos as we know how amazing these guys are!! We cannot recommend Matt and Dan enough. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Fern Photography for contributing to the most amazing day of our lives.
